Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a non-ablative technology that emits light in variable pulse durations, intervals and wavelengths to target specific skin problems. Photo Facial gentle Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments even out pigment and improve the appearance of sun damaged and aged skin, as well as reduce redness and flushing from rosacea or broken capillaries (telangiectasias); and reduce post-acne scars.
Downtime: The treated area may have slight swelling, appear a little more flushed and with capillaries more visible for a day or two. Brown spots may darken before they fall off.
Number of treatments: 3 to 5 treatments done at intervals approximately 2 to 4 weeks apart.
